To the Editor;
It is time again for the 55th Annual Moffat County Ride-N-Tie Rodeo July 20-21.
Performances begin at 7 p.m. at the Moffat County Fairgrounds.
The Ride-N-Tie Committee and the Colorado Professional Rodeo Association would like to invite you to come and enjoy some of our top cowboys and cowgirls competing against each other at the rodeo in bulls, broncs, roping events, steer wrestling and barrel racing. Once again, we will also feature the junior and senior steer riding event. Thanks to all the sponsors that have helped to keep this a part of our rodeo.
The Mother's Greased Pig contest is back. Ladies get your team of three together and join in the fun. There will be greased pigs for the youngsters too. And of course, there will be mutton bustin'. Sign ups for these events will be held at the rodeo. So come early and make sure that you are entered for the greased pig and the mutton buston.
This year's stock contractors are Glen and Lori Southwick. The announcer will be Les Olhauser.
Steers for the junior and senior steer riding are being donated by Last Chance Roping.
For information on the junior and senior steer riding, contact Mike at 824-7893.

The Ride-N-Tie Committee would like to add a special thank you to our local VFW and the Ladies Auxiliary for the many years of selfless dedication their organization has shown in support of this annual community event. The committee would also like to thank the rodeo's major sponsors: The Moffat County Commissioners, KRAI, First National Bank of the Rockies, B&K Distributors, A-1 Auto and Marine and special events sponsors Kennecott Coal and Trapper Mine.
