- With the end of the year only days away, people are making plans to toast in 2002. Grand Futures Prevention Coalition along with the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) are warning people not to tip back too many drinks on New Year’s Eve. And, if partiers have a few too many, to have a designated driver to get them safely home.

- The Colorado Attorney General’s Office will not be investigating the reasons behind higher gasoline prices in Craig as compared to the rest of the state. Colorado does not have a price gouging law, and high and/or uniform prices do not warrant an investigation. The only way the Attorney General’s Office could investigate the prices would be if a witness stepped forward with information about wholesalers or retailers of gasoline coordinating on or communicating about prices.

- Three Moffat County High School students have been arrested on felony charges of conspiracy to commit murder and terrorist training activities. One student was also charged with felony stalking. Bond has been set at $50,000 for each defendant.
