Sunrise Kids Preschool and Child Care/ Horizon's Easter Egg hunt a great success

To the Editor;

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Craig Daily Press and Kmart for their support of our Easter Egg Hunt. We also would especially like to thank our organizations and our staff for the partnership which has now become a friendship.

Sunrise Kids supports one of Horizon's adults as a volunteer with their children. Diversity and acceptance work well with children. We should be so fortunate with all of our community.

Horizons hosted an Easter Egg Hunt on April 12 at Breeze Street Park. The Easter Bunny (Cathy Lloyd) gave the signal and everyone scurried or hopped around looking for candy to fill their baskets. Eggs were colored and donated by Horizon's five homes Victory Way, Park Place, Duke House, Breeze and School Street. Horizon's day program, their staff and Kmart all donated candy. The Craig Daily Press shared the experience and supported the event by being able to stop by.

We thank all of you for making this year's Sunrise Kids/Horizon's Easter Egg hunt a great success.

Dorothy Thomas, Horizon's adult community coordinator and Judi Whilden, Sunrise Kids, LLC
