Louise Rhodes left to be with her daughter, Susie in Texas, where she underwent major surgery. Reports are the operation went well.

Curtis Gregory left for Laramie where he will attend college at the University of Wyoming.

Mr. and Mrs. Kent Copeland and two boys have purchased and moved into the home we all know as the Marie Holderness house, and where Brad Brown most recently lived on Fifth Street.

Diane and Lee Ann Barnett, Diane's parents, daughter, Adriana, son, Nathan, and Megan Copeland recently returned from a trip to Oregon where they visited Diane's great grandmother who is 95 years old.

Mr. and Mrs. Darroll Hockett spent a few days in Nebraska on business.

Mr. and Mrs. John Reagan returned to their home in Grand Junction Aug. 27.

They said they enjoyed a three week visit with their friend, Enid Kuchler, who is here from Hawaii. Enid and Pat said they enjoyed the 1950 class reunion, visiting relatives in Montrose and sharing times and memories of years gone by.

Mr. and Mrs. Ken Nachtman were in Casper, Wyo., last week on business.

Dick and Jane Dunckley were here from Las Vegas visiting their family and friends.

Joe Gazewood and Ginger Fisher left Aug. 28 for their respective homes after being here for the class reunion.

Sylvia Walker has returned home following a six-week stay with her family in Albuquerque, N. M. While there, her mother underwent knee surgery.

Marvin Carroll was in Hayden last weekend visiting his son, John, and family, sister, Nancy Neish and many of his old friends dating back to school days. He and his wife reside in Grand Junction.
