Hayden tidbits


Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pitney returned to their ranch for the summer months after being in Arizona for the winter.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Copeland were in Utah over the weekend to be with their daughter, Katy and family.

Wilma Hayes recently underwent major surgery in Grand Junction. She is doing well at this time.

Roseann Puff returned to her home in Santa Barbara, Calif., following a vacation in Colorado. The highlight of her trip was a river rafting trip down the Yampa and Green Rivers, she said.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Talkington from Lander, Wyo., were in Craig and Hayden last week visiting relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Phil Erickson have purchased a home and moved to Grand Junction where they plan to enjoy their retirement.

Jason Walker graduated May 13 from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's degree. His major is in sociology and minor in criminal justice. His mother, Sylvia; brother, Jimmy; sister, Silena; and other family members also attended the graduation ceremonies.
Mr. and Mrs. Roland Smith hosted a family birthday dinner Friday for their son, Dave.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Camp were in Las Vegas on a short vacation.

Carol Rickamn and Betty Barnes spent a few days last week in St. George, Utah, with the Coziahr family.

Carolyn Moon held first aid and CPR classes at the fire house last Thursday and Friday.

Sam Jenkins was graduated from Colorado State University May 13 with a bachelor's degree in computer systems. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Jenkins, hosted a reception for him following graduation. Many of his friends and families members, including the Barnes and Copeland families, were all there to wish him well.
