Dorothy J. Williams of Craig, Colo., died March 4, 2000, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. She was 87.
On June 28, 1912, in Moffat County, she was born the daughter of Harry Sr. and Olive (VanTassel) Durham.
On March 22, 1930, in Vernal, Utah, she married Max Williams. They were ranchers in the Hayden area.
Williams is survived by sons, Everett "Dutch" (Mary) Williams and Bob (Alice) Williams; daughter, Betty (Don) Anderson; daughters-in-law, Elinor William and Joyce Williams; brothers, Almon Durham and George Durham; sisters, Edna Shroeder, Avis Self and Betty Knight; 17 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Melvin, Bill and Alan; and grandchildren, Randall Lee Miller, Lauretta LarRue Miller and Joanne Williams.
Services were held March 8, 2000, at Hayden Congregational Church.
Pallbearers were: Michael Bell, Bruce Williams, Brendan Sullivan, Matthew Williams, Kirk Miller and Michael Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were: Bruce Adams, Clem Mascarenas, Winston Shrader, Almon Durham, Will Montieth, George Durham, Oren Robertson and Vern Westover.
Interment was at Hayden Cemetery.
Zelda M. Harper
Zelda M. Harper of Westminster, Colo., died March 2, 2000, at her home. She was 65.
On Dec. 10, 1934, in Fort Collins, Colo., she was born Zelda M. Gardner.
On Sept. 12, 1954, in Hayden, Colo., she married Bobby Joe Harper.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Cindy Talkington of Craig, Colo.; brothers, Harold Gardner of Vancouver, Wash., Maynard Gardner of Brighton, Colo., and Donald Gardner of Grand Junction, Colo.; sisters, Ruby Irick of Craig and Doris Kamerzell of Fort Collins, Colo; and two grandchildren.
No services were held.
Helen Margaretha Sophie Rodewald
Helen Margaretha Sophie Rodewald of Craig, Colo., died March 4, 2000. She was 93.
On Feb. 22, 1907, in Arlington Heights, Ill., she was born the daughter of Herman and Martha Kolling. She was educated at the Chicago Conservatory of Music.
On Nov. 3, 1934, in Elgin, Ill., she married Erwin Rodewald. They moved to Craig in 1958. She taught music lessons until she was 82 years old.
She is survived by her six children, Dale, Duane, Glenn and Joyce Cattoor, all of Craig; Roy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Don of Corvallis, Mont.; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, parents, one brother and two sisters.
Services were held March 13, 2000, at Faith Lutheran Church in Craig. Pallbearers were Jay Rodewald, Ryan Rodewald, Kurt Rodewald, Larry Cattoor, Kyle Rodewald and Eric Knez.
Honorary pallbearers were Rhett Rodewald, P.J. Werner, Travis Rodewald, Craig Hall, Flint Haskins, Bob Barnes, John Christopher and Timothy Rodewald.
Interment was at Craig Cemetery.
Tracy Zimmerman of Craig, Colo., died March 6, 2000, on Colorado Highway 13 near Rifle, Colo. She was 47.
On Nov. 6, 1952, in Craig, she was born the daughter of George and Dalpha (Decker) Zimmerman. She was raised and attended school in Craig, graduating from Moffat County High School. She was the owner and operator of T-K's Truck Stop Cafe in Craig.
She is survived by her mother; sisters, Kathy Montgomery of Sieloff, Ala., Ella Becker of Casper, Wyo., and Goergette Brogdin of Casper; and grandchildren, Stayton and Desmond.
She was preceded in death by her husband and father.
Services were held March 11, 2000, at Craig Middle School in the auditorium. Pallbearers were Dart Decker, Charlie Decker, Michael Montgomery, Orvie Zimmerman, Larry Zimmerman and Rich Dunckley.
Interment was at Craig Cemetery.
Kelley Ann Stauffer
Kelley Ann Stauffer of Craig, Colo., died March 6, 2000, on Colorado Highway 13 near Rifle, Colo. She was 28.
On Oct. 22, 1971, in Craig, she was born the daughter of Delbert Kinder and Tracy Zimmerman. She was raised and attended school in Craig and was graduated from Moffat County High School.
On March 12, 1997, in Craig, she married Tim Stauffer. She worked with her mother at T-K's Truck Stop Cafe.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Stayton Mosbey and Desmond Stauffer of Craig; and grandmother, Dalpha Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services were held March 11, 2000, at Craig Middle School in the auditorium. Pallbearers were Bryan Montgomery, Jim Kettle, Lance Mosman, Seth Phillips, Jeff Patterson and Destry Baker. Interment was at Craig Cemetery.
