Hayden Tid Bits

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Olson returned home from a trip to Norway with Roger's sister, Babs, and husband, John, who live in Minnesota. They had an educational time on vacation. The Olson's spent a day in Minnesota en route home to visit Roger's mother and other relatives. They spent a night with their sons, Erik and Nils, and Lorie and grandsons Kenney and Carl, before returning to Hayden.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Kopsa and two children recently enjoyed a visit from Pauline's parents who live in Australia.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Johnson, daughter, Lorraine, and family enjoyed a visit the weekend of Oct. 16 from their son who lives in Rock Springs, Wyo. While here he helped his father with guiding and outfitting.

The Womens Fellowship fall luncheon was well attended on Oct. 20 at the Parish Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Todd Dunckley have sold their mobile home and are living in the rental home of Lucy and Bryan Rickman on Fifth Street.

Lou Bergner moved from the Haven Assisted Living Facility to Rainbow Living Center in Craig. We wish her well.

Jean Kashner had major surgery at Routt Memorial Hospital in Steamboat Springs week before last. She is now recuperating at home.

The community extends sympathy to Diane Holly and family in their time of grief.

Jan Sheldon has returned to work after having major surgery and several weeks of recovery.

Butch Kitchens has been a patient at The Memorial Hospital in Craig for several days. He is much improved at this time.

Sally and Lee Williamson took Sally's mother, Mabel Green, to Windsor, Colo., the weekend of Oct. 16 to visit Lisa and Steve Smith and family. They especially went to watch grandson, Christopher, play his last soccer game of the season. The weather prohibited playing. Everyone was dissappointed, but were grateful to be able to share time together.

Sylvia Walker had a brief visit from her son, Jason, the weekend of Oct. 16. Jason attends school in Laramie, Wyo.

Mildred Yoast died quietly Oct. 16 at the Extended Care Center in Steamboat Springs following a lengthy illness.

Bridget Camilletti was home from Denver to help gather cattle for shipping.

Harrison Mader celebrated his 12th birthday Oct. 16 with a party at the Steamboat Springs swimming pool. Guests were classmates, friends, brothers and parents. Mom brought refreshments for all to share following the celebration.
