Marzella G. Bowden
Marzella G. Bowden of Kingfisher, Okla., died Oct. 23, 1999, at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher. She was 83.
On Nov. 23, 1915, in Hayden, Colo., she was born the daughter of Alexander and Lydia (Hazeltine) Gammill.
In 1932 she married Arthur VanCleave who died in January 1942. On Nov. 14, 1943, she married Charles Robert Bowden Sr.
She is survived by daughters, Lila McCart of Craig, Colo., Rosemary Hilkey of Meeker, Colo., Arthene Robin of Black Canyon, Ariz., and Tammie Bowden of Kingfisher; sons, Carroll VanCleave and Philip Bowden of Kingfisher, Charles Robert Bowden II of Cashion, and Douglas Bowden of Weatherford; sister, Velma Helppie of Boise, Idaho; brother, Larry Gammill of Denver; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, two brothers and four sisters.
Services were held Oct. 27, 1999, at Sanders Funeral Chapel in Kingfisher. Burial was at New Home Cemetery.
