Hayden tid bits


On Nov. 27, La Vergne and Virginia More had friends and family at their home in Craig to celebrate 60 years of marriage.

Aleah Hockin, daughter of Ed and Kathy Hockin of Hayden, and Dan Kemry, son of Debbie and Delbert Kemry of Steamboat Springs, Colo., will be married March 4, 2000, in Hayden.

Peggy Dunning, the Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word computer classes instructor, will have a party upon completion of fall semester units the night of finals.

Condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Ron Cless in the loss of Joyces' mother who recently died at the Delta nursing home.

Sherri Copeland underwent back surgery at Steamboat Springs Medical Center Dec. 4. She is doing well.
Friends and family members of the Walt Brazeltons attended the memorial dinner for Walt at the Church of Christ in Hayden on Dec. 4.

Don and Jackie Morgan were in Denver for a mini- vacation.

The Raymond Earles, Jan Earle, the Bob Barnes and Dave Smith families had a dinner together Dec. 9 to celebrate Kathy Smith's birthday a wee bit late and Jan's birthday a wee bit early.

Olive Dean Blake had her boys here over the weekend of Dec. 4. They came for the late hunting season.

Beautiful trees, wreaths and centerpieces that came from the tree festival a week ago Sunday are being enjoyed by students and faculty at the school, The Haven and many of the Hayden businesses.

Mr. and Mrs. Phil Grubbs were in Denver where Julie underwent surgery.

On Dec. 7, the Hayden middle school and high school bands presented a Christmas concert to a large audience under the direction of Mr. Bill Grimes.

Mr. and Mrs. Ron Chenoweth are living on their ranchette in Craig. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Green purchased their property in Hayden where they have made their home for many years.
