In this past year of financial bedlam, Joe has remained steadfast and positive in his advice. He has shown compassion as only a real friend could do. Joe has earned my gratitude, and my trust.

We had another outstanding meal last night at Mazzola's. Great service and food at a reasonable price. Can't expect much more than that. However, we have one suggestion for improvement. Seems there was this young kid busing tables with his pants down around the middle of his butt, clearly revealing his butt crack to patrons when he wiped off tables. That was certainly unappetizing. Someone needs to stand-in for his parents and give him some stern guidance about right and wrong regardless of today's teenage fashion.

I knew Joe as a Flight Instructor first, but have found he uses the same belief system in his Financial role as well. Flying is a pursuit that some feel has a risk, but much like investing, there are safe ways to do it. I have developed a personal trust for Joe's insight into both these realms.

I have known Joe for a long time and know that his expertise as a pilot and instructor are unsurpassed. His abilities include a deep concern for safety. As a financial advisor he is extremely capable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend him as an expert in both careers.

The Porches is quite possibly the most beautiful place I have had the chance to stay. The homes are beyond beautiful, they are gorgeous, well designed, and luxurious. Our five bedroom home was more than we could have dreamed of! The bedding is thick and warm, the bathrooms are luxurious and beautiful and numerous! Each bedroom had it's own beautiful bathroom! The kitchen is fully functioning, well stocked with all the essentials and many luxuries I did not expect! Our beautiful gas stove made cooking dinner a delight and I was sad to come home and leave it behind!

In addition to the amazing home, the staff of The Porches can't be beat! They are friendly, accommodating, and willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs! My son and I will never forget our evening sitting out by the pool under the stars toasting smores over the firepit. We made memories that we will never forget.

If you are looking for an experience in luxury with a family friendly location and staff, this is the best of the best. I hope we get the chance to visit again soon!

Rex's is simply a fantastic place. Very consistent, tasty, homemade food with excellent service for the right price. There really isn't a better place in town for the value you get. I've eaten countless meals during breakfast, lunch and dinner here and will continue to do so. Happy hour rocks every night and one of the best kept secrets is the patio in the summer, which is even better with live music. Rex did a fantastic job with this place - who knew any of us would go to the Holiday Inn to have such a great meal. Chicken Fried Chicken rocks as do many of the creative specials. We find the same great consistency, service and value in his other two restaurants - Mazzola's and Big House.

The Best Sandwiches in Steamboat!

Great setting and great food. A very nice place to have lunch. I enjoy the turkey sandwich and french onion soup.

Big House Burgers is a great lunch spot for the folks at the Steamboat Pilot & Today. My favorite menu items are the My Chix sandwich and the chil-cheese brat with fries.

At Backcountry, they always know your name. I'm a big fan of the 14er with potato salad as a side.

Don't miss their mud season specials all the best food and drinks for incredible deals! And the patio is not to be missed in the summer for a great outdoor dining experience.

Always enjoy the chips and salsa at Cantina. My favorite dish is the Baja Enchiladas. Had the Santa Fe Enchiladas this week and loved those too.
