   Well- Well! It is nice to see that things haven't changed much in MOCO in the last 20 years. A co-worker just returned from this weekend's basketball event and her impression of Craig was great!! She stated that she couldn't believe how the fans acted. She said they were down right mean and rude to the players, coaches and other parents. She “couldn't wait to get out of that town.”

   Imagine how proud I was of my hometown!

   I have included a bit on sportmanship- perhaps it can be passed on to parents, players and coaches you interact with.

   Good sportsmanship occurs when teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials treat each other with respect.

   Kids learn the basics of sportsmanship from the adults in their lives, especially their parents and their coaches. Kids who see adults behaving in a sportsmanlike way gradually come to understand that the real winners in sports are those who know how to persevere and to behave with dignity — whether they win or lose a game.

   Come on Moffat County- Show some class!

   I was at the game, the behavior I saw was the best I have seen in years. Perhaps the area she was sitting in was inappropriate, but the student section was on their best behavior.

   I agree the fans were fine…..if you are concerned about your hometown you would think you would be there for support??!! But that is just me……the community really supported the girls!! I for one am glad to see it….the kids were great!! Complete class all the way around sorry you got some bad information!!

   The information you received is great! This is high school. Kids get to show their school spirit, cheer for their classmates, and this is sports. Sports are very competitive and I played many sports in school. From a players standpoint, the louder and crazier your crowd, the better. I agree there are some comments that kids may make that should not be yelled or said, mainly racist or curse words. Other than that, it's all in good fun and it is those people who do not understand this that get upset. I agree completely with annoyed1 in that our community did a great job showing support, especially for girls since it has not been so strong in the past years. All in all i believe it's a good sign, not something Moffat County needs to work on.
