America Needs A Leader Like This!

Isn't it Time for us to get a backbone as well?

America Needs A Leader Like This!

Prime Minister John Howard - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'immigrants, not australians, must adapt. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terro rist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'.

'We speak mainly english; not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'
'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is our country, our land, and our lifestyle, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,
    'the right to leave'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths.
If you agree please send this on

As far as I know -Muslims don't live under Sharia law in the US, they live under OUR laws. All religions are free to worship and live as they see fit as long as they do not infringe on the rights of our citizens or break our laws.

We don't need more laws. We have enough on the books.

Tiger-Where have you been? It hasn't been very long ago that a father killed his two daughters because they wanted to act like normal American teen-agers: dress like teens, wear make-up like teens, and run around with their friends-like normal American teens. They broke his laws. I think it was in Chicago. Then there was a gal in Florida that made a big stink because she wanted her drivers license picture to show her in her burka. I agree 100% with Joaniey's post. If you want to come to this country, then come prepared to become a part OF this country. If you don't like it here, go somewhere else. We don't need to change everything to suit you.

    grannyrett,
I though parents could make rules for their children in America, even if they are base on religious beliefs… I know several Christians whos rules are based on their religious beliefs. Now, I don't condone him killing them over it, but that is not necissarily a Muslim thing. There have been several child deaths caused by their parents in Colorado, I don't think they were all Muslim. There are several Christian religions that have dress codes for the women (and sometimes the men, but usually only for the women) that require they were dresses or skirts or hats, etc…
If You say that the Koran says parents can kill or harm their children, so it is a Muslim thing…
You might want to read the Christian Bible and see how brutal it can be towards women and children.

Being American does not mean being Christian, we have Freedom to believe as we choose. It is in the Constitution… You know that piece of paper that stated many American Ideals when this country started… Are you aware of its existance? If so, read it, you might learn something

DV8-Thank you very much for your words of wisdom. I have both the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights framed and hanging on the walls in my living room. Know them pretty well, thank you. Still, if you long for the freedoms that this country gives everyone, then don't come here and try to make it into what you left behind.

It's my fault folks! It's all my fault. I am sorry I did not take the time to educate your kids personally and look what happened. This country is full of morons who do not realize something as simple as the concept that if you import rabbits and give them the right to vote they can vote to change the laws of your country so that you will live by Rabbit law not the law your ancestors made for you. And once the rabbits change the law there will be no way to change it back. It's my fault! It's my fault! It's my fault! Well maybe some other people need to go look in the mirror and blame the person they see in there too. Oh well, I'm old and will die soon and will not have to live under Rabbit law, but people like DV8 will.

    Paranoid?
I'm not saying laws should be changed. The laws are messed up anyway because of all the special interests groups.

I'm just saying we need to follow what our founding fathers set up. I believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, they are the absolute basis of what it means to be American. I believe everyone who is a citizen (natural or immagrant) needs to know them.

If more Americans would bother to do their duties and vote, we wouldn't have to fear your “rabbit laws”
If more Americans didn't whine about jury duty and try to get out of it, the system would be better equiped to handle the laws already on the books.
If more Americans would quite saving a dollar and hiring illegal immigrants, they wouldn't want to come to this country.
If more Americans would stop shipping labor to foreign countries, more American could have good jobs

Our problems are much bigger than other religions and cultures, it is greed, laziness and apathy.

    It's interesting…
Threaten to take our guns… that's a problem
Threaten to take our right to say what we want… that's a problem
Threaten to take away our right to privacy.. that's a problem (unless the propaganda says it will stop terrorists)
Threaten to ban what the press says… If we agree with the press, that's a problem
Threaten to take away our freedom to believe and worship as we choose… who cares as long as we can still be Christian

    Let's face it…
there is very little that is truly American and that's what makes America what it is. We have borrowed from several cultures and have created and amazing culture from that. Where else in the world can you celebrate St. Patrick's Day (Ireland), Octoberfest (Germany), Easter (let's face it, we celebrate like the old European pagans, not Christians), Cinqo de Mayo (Mexico) and the 4th of July(American). That's what makes us great… our freedoms and ability to find a reason to celebrate.

    Not Paranoid, observant!

If the Judges told juries the truth about the power the jury holds instead of lying to them the country would change back to what it was meant to be. You as a Jury member get to judge the guilt and innocence of those charged as well as the constitutionality of the law that allegedly applies! But they will not tell you that and don't tell them you know it or you will never serve on a jury.

That's right, we the people get to determine the constitutionality of the law! We get to say not guilty if the law is a bunch of nonsense. And when law enforcement officers demonstrate that they cannot be trusted to tell the truth, or that the District Attorney does not represent the people as determined by lack of action or actions contrary to the public good then you have to wonder if she is telling the truth.

No everybody just voting is a real bad idea. And I'll tell you why. How many more morons would have voted for Bonnie Roesink when she ran unopposed for District Attorney last time if everyone who legally could vote did? A whole bunch. Why? Because they think that is what they are supposed to do. Vote Vote Vote! It doesn't matter who you vote for just vote everybody tells them. The fewer the votes, the fewer signatures it takes to recall the public servant if they don't follow the law or don't do their job properly. Bonnie would have been history if so many morons had not voted for an unopposed candidate. And that's a fact!

I believe that leaving it blank doesn't count either way. I know if I don't know about a candidate who running unopposed, I leave it blank, because of situations similar to the one oldsage brought up. That's why I think there should be a “none of the above” I think some people fill in boxes because they think they have to, and don't know they can leave it blank. If I don't stand behind a candidate, I'll be damned if they get my vote, even if they are unapposed.
