The Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club (NOWECOS) and Colorado Parks and Wildlife will be hosting an avalanche safely class on Sunday, Jan. 6, at 9:30 a.m. Meet at Freeman trailhead, this will be on the snow so transportation is required. It will last 2 to 4 hours. Everyone is welcome to attend. All backcountry users are encouraged to learn as much as possible about avalanche safety.
