Ripple Creek Lodge to Celebrate Harvesting of the U.S Capital Christmas Tree

From 8 a.m. to noon On Friday Nov. 2, Ripple Creek Lodge is throwing a party to commemorate the harvesting of the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree and the beginning of the tree’s journey from the Blanco Ranger District to the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. This festivity is free and open to everyone and will include photo opportunities with the Capitol Christmas Tree, a bonfire, giveaways, Christmas cookies and candies, hot cocoa, coffee and a special visit from Santa Claus. Ripple Creek Lodge is located approximately 40 miles east of Meeker.
