The Special Olympics Western Area Summer Games takes place Saturday, May 8 at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.
Athletes from all over the Western Slope will compete in track, swimming and powerlifting events.
Watch the opening ceremonies at 9 a.m. then stick around to watch the athletes compete.
