I also want to take a moment to inform the CDP to hire an editor.
I quote” During audience comments members of the Craig community were invited to say their peace about the structure and ”
The word “peace” is not appropriate in this case. the correct word would be “piece” .
you are welcome

Howdy folks: some government budgeting 101:
Capital budget 101: land, buildings, vehicles, safety equipment.
operating budget; salary, insurance, fuel, utilities, work-mans comp.
The cost of maintenance for capital items can be either capital or operating.
The Fire Board is using their funds correctly. Anybody with a basic understanding of the process knows this.
Further more: an auditor has come in and said so. Why is this still an issue?

Well bubba993 - - - I guess - - - since we're on the subject of editing that you brought up - - - it's workman's comp not “work-mans” and it's furthermore not “further more”.

I'm told three people showed up at the Fire Board meeting last night and only two spoke. If you read the CDP article, it seemed like many people were there to speak. As usual, CDP only presented one side again. This Cashion guy sounds like a KOOK to me!
