Why is it we learn about Craig news from the Denver Post, KUSA Denver or the “steamboat” news paper and not the CRAIG daily press?

I heard it on KUSA at 7 this morning, didn't pay attention until I heard the word Craig so I didn't get the whole story. So I went to the Daily Press to see what I missed, didn't see the story there. Nothing on KRAI either. Waited until noon to watch the Denver news to get the whole story. Went back to the Daily Press around noon, still no story that I could find. Saw that KRAI had posted the story. When to Steamboat paper just to see what was going on in Steamboat and there was the story in the Today about Craig. Now this was way after 11:10 am when I asked why Craig new's wasn't in the Craig paper. Ok, here is my question again……Why does the Denver Post and KUSA have storys about Craig before our newpaper does?

This particular story the reasons are many, however one being that it was a case filed in a court residing in Denver. If there are other stories in particular please let me know.
