Is anyone else in town tired of everything going up?
The city has put the screws to us again. My water bill has increased by $6.45 and I have not used any additional water. I understand that the county has increased the landfill charges, and the city has to pass that on to us. Oh and then there is the state of the art (???) water treatment plant and they have to pass those fees on to us too. And the list goes on!!
I realize everyone who has had to raise their rates for one reason or another feel that they are justified in doing so, but my husbands wages have not gone up and we are not a two income family that can say, oh well. I am getting very tired of this and sooner or later it's got to stop. This is no different then all the complaints about the taxes, Enough is Enough!

Lonelyone, you are absolutely correct. where does it end. I heard on the Radio (KRAI-AM) today. Our City Council has sent a letter to the state legislature that they support the bill before the congress now that will raise the registration fee per vehicle $30 - $45 with the moneys to go to roads in Colorado. Ray Beck says that with that moneys we can get highway 13 north to the Border completed. get real that moneys is going to stay on the East slope. Why would the Craig City Council do such a thing.

Because the Craig City Council is full of uneducated sheep possessed by greed.
We pay taxes on our gasoline to pay for roads and bridges. They just aren't doing what they're supposed to do.
