Check out the Steamboat paper. They are going to basically shut down the forum. You will now have to register and give them lots of personal info in order to blog. Bet it doesn't take long before they do that here. Some one up there has started an online newspaper where they can blog. Maybe some one that knows how to do that can do it here when they shut down this forum.

Just received e-mail from bjacobson assuring me they aren't going to do that, but, if they decide to, plenty of notice will be given to us.

I know the Pilot gets pretty nasty at times, our forums are really pretty decent compared to theirs. Isn't the Pilot and the CDP owned by the same company?

Is this why all the Routt county people have been posting here over the Oak Creek woman? They can't do it on the Pilot anymore???

lonely—When the two papers run the same story, their posts show up on our forum. Ours don't show up on theirs. It's happened before. Don't know how, but I have posted on it only to have it show up on ours. Yes, they are owned by the same company. That is why I figured if Steamboat was going to change their forum, it would soon happen here. bjacobson says no though. At least not for now. They are going to have to register, list name, zip code, age, all sorts of stuff, although they can still post anonymously.
