Last week we had the bird flu break out in our country, at Tyson Farms in Arkansas….no media…..as always. I called Tyson for info., no one could talk about it.

I called the governors office, (they didn't know but was glad I called). They connected me to the cpsc (they didn't know about it either), and they connected me to the colorado dept of heath….(food inspectors for restaurants)…they hadn't heard either. Neither did Sen. Lincoln (d) ark., yeah, I called her too.

They culled 20K hens last week. After that news broke the media totally shut down on the subject. You'll have to google it and read about it in a newspaper from overseas.

American is over entertained and under informed…..they way they want it.

Call somebody in gov. and give them hell just to bother them like they bother us. Do it every day, twice on some. I stressed that they eat too.

Everyone I spoke with today truly thanked me for my call and asked me to call back if I get further information….go figure.

Regarding the contaminated tomatoes….it can't be washed off…..it's in the fruit. If you do not know where your tomato is from….do not eat it.

Restaurants are safe right now because the food delivery trucks are not allowed to transport any produce from “suspect” producers. This is not the case if the owner ran down to the store and grabbed them.

Chain restaurants aren't serving them because they are “clueless” where their food comes from.

California tomatos are safe (right now anyways). Do not eat tomatos from Mexico until further notice.

Rome is burning and the daily depress top story is beet jelly. We really should pool together and put out a competing “once a week” update of what's really going on. Matters that effect all of us.

Did any of you know that there is a “Political Moritorium” on oil shale? I didn't either until I heard it out of the horses mouth/butt yesterday. No development of oil shale…..PERIOD.

I heard about it from fox news radio out of grand junction taxslave. no big deal this isn't the harmful type. Just like the muslim going out and killing six jewish women in washington isn't terrorism right?

I said awhile back that Shell petroleum had stopped their mancamps down around Dubec. This was all because of oil shale. denver will kill western colorados economy while taking all the revinue from the taxes and spending it for themselves. the greenees will kill the economy for the rest of the nation. we are in aheap of trouble. Makes me wonder if these are the end of days.

From what I'm seeing and hearing with my own eyes on the Senate floor is….

The Feds have tied the hands of the all the governors regarding oil shale. They won't even allow the subject on the floor for debate. 75 fillibusters already.

like ol ritter would let any oil company touch the oil shell now? that liberal will shut our boom down before the year is over.
