Just getting caught up. We're not allowed to say we're where at or what company we're working for but if you watch the larger newspapers from the front range you'll be able to tell by the number of rebel attacks we deal with each week. The local government says they have them under control. But, we have a weapons locker on the platform that we have access to if they ever breach the pipe decks. So far it's only happened once, reminded me of being back in RVN The Nigerian Troops are pretty handy. This one is getting to close.
Supply barge is due about noon tomorrow. and I think it's time to put in my papers While I still can I want to spend more than 2 months with my grand kids and wife now that I've hit 63. Gotta go something's twisted up.

I wasn't aware that there was a change with the Daily Press?? Although that shortly before or after the elections I know everybody was eliminated from access, along with all the blog comments Kind of expected that though. Hmmm…maybe we tread lightly for a bit to see what's going to happen. I'll be going back to Nigeria for 3 months so my access will be slow until I reach the platform. Talk to you all later. Merry Christmas all, and Happy New Year.

Not necessarily slashdot, I'm curiously watching Nancy Palosi and giving her the benefit of her position, I truly am. I loved it when she said, “when you need to clean house you need a woman”. I have hopes for her even though I'm not a democrate. I for one believe we need to work together. We have serious problems and need serious people, people willing to listen to the other side…that would be me. btw, no longer repulican, now an independent.

There's plenty of politics to talk about. NAFTA, the NAU, Iraq, Illegal Immigration, Nancy Palosi, candidates for President..pick one, I'm in….let the games begin.

btw, Happy Holidays everyone. I'm going to enjoy them and have plenty of Holiday spirit.

OK, I'm new to “writing” in this forum, but not new to the forum. I've been reading for quite some time whenever I had a few minutes to spare. I got a kick out of reading the many interesting comments from a multitude of colorful characters. What happen to them? Where are you guys? Is this new format a little intimidating to the majority? Any idea what's going on with the old forum veterans? I miss you guys!
