News this week showed snowpack in the Yampa River basin has reached 94 percent of median for the date. Do you think Moffat County is out of the woods as far as drought concerns?

A young man, Richard Washburn, who grew up in Craig and married a Craig girl is waiting in Kuwait for further transport on to Iraq. Having recieved his AA degree from Meridian Community College in Mississippi last year, Ricky joined the Army. He carries on in the proud tradition of his grandfather, dad and brother.
Your prayers and thoughts are most welcome.

Update:
Ricky's dad, Lt. Col. Roger I. Gerrard, is now deployed to Iraq for approximately one year. Ricky got to come home for R and R before Roger left, so our families were able to get together. Ricky will be returning to Iraq in a couple of weeks.

ENS Jeremy Gerrard has arrived in Afganistan for a tour of approxiimately 9 months. Yes, that means my husband and both of our sons are deployed. Between them, they represent the Air Force, Army and Navy.
Yes, I am so proud of them that I choke up. I can't even describe how scared I am for them, but they are all doing what they feel is important.
Ricky will be leaving soon to return to his unit in Baghdad.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Robin
(p.s. - Ashley is doing well, she is a junior at Mississippi State, applying for vet school! )
