Couples announcements for August 2011



Daniels and Billet

Ron and Kim Daniels, and Frank and Shirley Pennington and Randy Billet announce the marriage of their children, Autumn Daniels and Henry Billet, of Grand Junction. Autumn and Henry are Craig natives. They were married Saturday, May 28, 2011, in Hamilton. Lydia Billet, Henry’s daughter, joined the couple at the altar for the ceremony and union of their family. Moffat County Sheriff Tim Jantz officiated the service. A reception took place at the C-Punch Ranch.


Root and Hockett

Ann Root and Earl Hockett announce their plans to marry Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, with a vintage Western wedding at the Historic Luttrell Barn in Craig. A potluck reception dinner will follow the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Lila Root, of Palm Desert, Calif. She graduated from Marysville High School in Washington and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Honolulu. A local artist in mixed media, she is employed as a certified optician with Eyecare Specialties of Craig. The groom is the son of the late Bill Hockett, of Leadville, and Laura Cornell, of Canyon City. Originally from Twin Lakes, he graduated from Leadville High School. He is a longtime resident of Moffat and Routt counties, working as a cowboy and truck driver. The couple will continue to reside in Craig.


Skolness and Green

Lindsey Skolness and Clinton Green announce their engagement and wedding on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Foote Lagoon in Loveland. The bride is the daughter of Jane Skolness, of Thornton. She graduated in 1999 from Green Mountain High School in Lakewood and has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University. She is employed at INTERRA- logic Inc., in Fort Collins. The groom is the son of Danny and Vickie Green, of Craig. He graduated in 1999 from Moffat County High School and has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University. He is employed at INTERRA- logic Inc., in Fort Collins. The couple will live in Loveland.


Gilchrist and Knoche

Chloe Gilchrist and Erik Knoche, both originally from Craig and now of Fort Collins, were married July 9, 2011, at Sunset Arboretum in Craig. A reception followed at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Craig. Jay Kissell, a family friend, officiated the ceremony. Emily Gilchrist was the maid of honor, and Dylan Brown was the best man. The bridesmaids were Jenna Waite, Nicole Hickory, Jennifer Wiersma, Jody Richardson, Kristin Knoche and Andrea Knoche. The groomsmen were Terry Landoll, Chris Fritchman, Bryse Collins and Zach Smith. The ushers were Daniel Brown and Justin Pearce. The flower girls were Chloe Villard, Rylee Villard and Tess Villard, and the ring bearer was Kelton Villard, all cousins of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Tom and Beth Gilchrist. She is employed at East Memorial Elementary in Greeley. The groom is the son of John and Linda Knoche and the late Brenda Knoche. He is employed at Wells Fargo Bank. The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica and resides in Fort Collins.
