The family of David and Shirley Seely announce the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. A barbecue in their honor will take place Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds picnic area, and will be attended by their many friends and family. David and Shirley were high school sweethearts, raised a wonderful family and worked together ranching. The couple has four children, daughters Kim Halcomb, Lisa Halcomb, Sue Ellen Voloshin and Lynne Krause; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. David and Shirley are the owners of Wellsweep Ranches in Hamilton. Shirley is also the clerk for the city of Craig.
Schmidt and Clark
The parents of Cassandra Kay Clark and Schyler James Schmidt announce the engagement of their children. Parents are Dana Clark and Dale Clark, of Craig, Dominette Celli, of Milton, Del., and Jim (Debi) Schmidt, of Craig. The couple is planning a September 2010 wedding in Craig.
Friends and family of Pierre and Kaye Johnson are invited to attend the couple’s 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 7 at Yampa Valley Baptist Church, 3900 E. Victory Way in Craig. A reception is scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. Visitors do not need to bring gifts. Family members said people coming to the reception to share in fellowship and help them celebrate is enough and would be appreciated.
Polly Radosevich, daughter of Amelia Radosevich and the late George Radosevich, Jr., was joined in marriage to Dick Dickinson, son of the late A. Wright and Margaret Dickinson, on July 2, 1960, in Rock Springs, Wyo. The wedding took place at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church by the Rev. Albin Gnidovec and the Rev. Gerald Sullivan. Attendants were Polly’s cousin Neldine Angelovie and sister Veronica Radosevich, and Dick’s friends Bob and Mike Arambel, and Dr. Robert Graves, of Fort Collins. Fifty years later, Polly and Dick live and ranch northwest of Maybell in the Browns Park area with their children, T. Wright, Jean and her spouse, Jake Lytle, Dee Dee, and March and his spouse, Gerda. They have three grandchildren, Kate, Ira and Ian. The couple, their friends and family will celebrate this fall.
Richard and Gayle Kendall, of Craig, are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 7, 2010, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Craig. The public is invited. The couple was married Aug. 23, 1975, in Craig. They will be joined by children Jason (Janina), Kendall, Jamie (Bill) Jones and all of their adopted children.
