Job Title: Financial/Business Analyst
Reports to: Controller
Department: Finance
Location: Steamboat Springs, CO
Position Overview: This position is responsible for the forecasting, management reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and P&L analysis functions of SmartWool Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Timberland Company.
Connectivity: (with what depts. and how)
Warehouse Manager –Reconciliations, Inventory balances, and cycle counting performance and procedures.
Ops – Setting annual standard costs and tracking/reporting inventory levels
IT – Pivot Link sales reporting capabilities
Sales – Assure accurate inventory on-hand of excess and obsolete inventory, customer profitability and setting of wholesale and retail prices.
Marketing – Both domestic and international POP inventory levels, costing and period end valuations.
International – Setting of costs for inter-company sales
SmartWool President in reconciling and preparing the monthly business performance review
