What is the Craig Daily Press' plan for the open sportswriter position?

Jerry Raehal:

For the long term, we are currently conducting interviews for the position, and have had some people in town for interviews.

For the short term, David Pressgrove, the former sports writer for the Daily Press, has been covering the majority of events, as well as Mari Katherine Raftopoulos, our intern whose last day was Thursday. When David is not available, we try to split the sports work up among staff, including cross covering events with Steamboat reporters.

Regardless of who covers what, our goal is to provide the best local sports coverage in the area. If you ever have story ideas for sports, feel free to call me at 824-7031, ext. 204, or email editor@craigdailypress.com

arent there any charity organizations or churches that could lend dan floeter either their time or materials to make his older moble home liveable for his fience, elizibeth Perschon, who will be comming home tomorrow after a stay in denver hospital since aug 07?(see my story under story suggestions) a concerned stepmom
